Angela Merkel will continue as German chancellor for the 3rd term

(VOVworld) – Germany’s Christian Democratic Union and Christian Social Union, CDU/CSU, and the Social Democratic Party (SPD) have announced cabinet members for the 2013-2017 term and some changes in the structure of ministries.
The new cabinet will have 14 ministries and Chancellor Angela Merkel’s CDU will hold 5 ministries.
The Ministry of Construction will be in charge of digital infrastructure to become the Ministry of Construction and Digital infrastructure. The new Economy and Energy Ministry will take responsibility for Germany's ambitious plan of energy transformation from nuclear power to green energy. The Ministry of Justice will cover consumer rights protection, which was under the Ministry of Agriculture.
