Gift-giving to policy beneficiaries to be completed before year end
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed a dispatch on Sunday regarding the giving of gifts from the Party and State to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress and the Lunar New Year 2026 to people with meritorious services to the revolution, social welfare beneficiaries, social pensioners, and other vulnerable groups.
Gift amount is 400,000 VND (15 USD) per person, in cash. The gift-giving process must be completed no later than December 31, 2025, according to the government resolution.
The resolution stipulates that the beneficiaries of gifts from the Party and State are people with meritorious services to the revolution as stipulated in the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution; social welfare beneficiaries as stipulated in Government Decree No. 20 dated March 15, 2021; social pensioners as stipulated in Government Decree No. 176 dated June 30, 2025; as well as orphans, homeless children, or children in orphanages.
