On Wednesday, Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs Doan Mau Diep visited and presented Tet gifts for war invalids, Vietnamese heroic mothers, and revolutionary contributors in Cao Ky village in Bac Kan province.

The same day a Tet gathering program took place in Thanh Hoa to share economic burdens with poor local workers and state servants when Tet comes near. 190 gift sets were offered worth about 7,700 USD. On this occasion, Thanh Hoa’s Trade Union Fund has financed 45,000 USD to help its 29 members to build or repair houses.

Lam Dong People’s Committee has spent 945,000 USD from the provincial budget to present Tet gifts for local revolutionary contributors and poor and near-poor households to help them have happier Tet. Lam Dong’s Red Cross Society presented gifts for 2,000 impoverished ethnic households in a number of ethnic crowded districts.

Over the past 9 days, the Health Department and the Office of the People’s Committee of Hau Giang province held free medical check-up and medicine supply for 1,500 poor villagers and policy beneficiaries in Phuong Binh commune.
