(VOVworld) – Ho Chi Minh City’s Labor Federation has cooperated with trade unions of industrial and processing zones to visit and present Tet gifts for more than 2,800 workers who can’t return home for the Lunar New Year holiday.
The management boards of industrial and processing zones and the municipal Department of Transportation and Public Works have provided them 1,000 free bus tickets and tickets to the 2016 flower fair so that they can welcome Tet in the city.
Laborers in the city will also have opportunities to attend Tet welcoming programs in 11 places.
Six hundred outstanding workers will be honored and presented with gifts on this occasion.
