Greece promotes European Security Fund

(VOVWORLD) - Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis called for the establishment of a European Security Fund after a meeting with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Warsaw that aimed to find new solutions and enhance European defense cooperation.

Mitsotakis said a European Security Fund, if created, could effectively address some pressing issues like enhancing missile defense capabilities.

He underlined the importance of addressing new security challenges collectively at the European level.

Misotakis’s visit to Poland is the first by a Greek Prime Minister since 2011.
