The new Da Do School, which operates as a branch of Van Tien Primary and Secondary School, will have five classrooms, supporting facilities, a 500-square-meter paved playground, and an outdoor “green library.”
The project’s total cost is nearly 40,000 USD, funded by the Bao An Social Fund. Construction is expected to be completed by August, just in time for the 2025-2026 school year.
At the ceremony, Hoang Thi Kim Thu, Deputy Director of VOVWorld, emphasized that charitable work has long been a core focus of the Voice of Vietnam. She described the construction of Da Do School as one of their most heartfelt projects, aimed at improving learning and teaching conditions for children in remote mountainous areas.
Le Hong Chuong, Head of Economic and External Affairs of Bao An Social Fund, said, “Witnessing the challenges faced by teachers and students in the mountain regions, we hope to help create more clean, green, beautiful, and safe schools across the country. We look forward to continuing our partnership with VOVWorld to ensure students in remote areas like Da Do have better and safer learning environments.”

The groundbreaking brought great joy to the teachers and students of Da Do School, as well as to the parents whose children attend.
A local resident said, “Like many others in Da village, I’m truly delighted. The children used to travel long distances to get to school, and during the rainy season, the village roads often became dangerous. Now, with the new school being built, they won’t have to travel far anymore.”
Da Do School in Van Chan district, Yen Bai province, will be the first project under an educational initiative called “Youth and the Future.”
The representative of Bao An Social Fund says he hopes to continue long-term partnership with the Voice of Vietnam to mobilize more donors to build a brighter future for underprivileged children across the country.
