Hanoi holds first National Solidarity Festival

(VOVWORLD) - Hanoi’s first National Solidarity Festival was held on Saturday at the Trinh Cong Son pedestrian street to mark the 93rd founding anniversary of the Vietnam National United Front, Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and 20 years of the organization of Great National Solidarity Day.

Addressing the 3-day event, Nguyen Lan Huong, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi, said that through 17 congresses, the Front has mobilized people from all walks of life and promoted the role of outstanding individuals of all ethnicities, religions, intellectuals, and Vietnamese people abroad to jointly participate in patriotic emulation movements, campaigns, and production competitions to build a civilized lifestyle and efficiently deploy campaigns.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi launched a special emulation movement in celebration of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at all levels and Hanoi’s 70th Liberation Day anniversary.
