Addressing an online conference on Saturday, Deputy Minister Phung Duc Tien said his Ministry has worked closely with Hanoi authorities to facilitate commodities supply and prevent logistic disruption.

Director of Hanoi’s Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chu Phu My, said: “The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has updated requests from Hanoi and other provinces to cooperate with relevant Ministries to address issues in identification codes for transport vehicles to ensure smooth transport of perishable goods and other production materials such as animal feed and fertilizer among localities.”

Director of the Agricultural Products Processing and Development Authority, Tran Quoc Toan, called for preparation in the warehouse systems: "We should review farm produce readiness of various districts for supplies to the capital city as well as frozen warehouses, and supply chains connecting 21 northern cities and provinces. Transit spots and connection between industrial zones’ kitchens and supermarket chains should be strengthened to ensure seamless retail network.”
