(VOVworld) – A ceremony was held in Ho Chi Minh on Sunday to mark the 70^th anniversary of the People’s Police Force on August 19^th, and 10^th anniversary of the “All people protect national security” festival. Addressing the event, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh municipal People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan hailed the force’s glorious feat of arms and achievements over the past 70 years. He said the city’s Party Committee, authorities, and people always trust in the police force and wish the force more success in fulfilling their tasks of protecting social security and order.
