The scheme will be carried out by  Tri Nam Group, which will invest in 388 bikes with solar-powered smart locks and set up 43 bicycle stations on sidewalks around the district.

43 bicycle parking locations include Ham Nghi, Nguyen Hue, Vo Van Kiet, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Pham Hong Thai, Nguyen Thi Nghia, Pham Ngu Lao, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Le Duan, Ton Duc Thang, and Le Thanh Ton. Every station has 10-20 bicycles, each with smart lock and GPS navigation function.

Bike users will download the Mobike app on their mobile phones and search for the remaining stations nearby, then use the app to scan the code to unlock the bike.

To start using the service, users can recharge via bank account, credit card or direct deposit. In the short term, investors recommend different types of tickets from 5,000 VND (22 USD cents) for 30 minutes and 10,000 VND (43 US cents) for an hour.
