HCMC to ease social distancing after September 30

(VOVWORLD) - Ho Chi Minh City will gradually ease social distancing measures, according to a new Directive.

At a working session with the municipal Party Committee on Monday, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, who is also deputy head of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, asked Ho Chi Minh City to focus on employment, accommodation, welfare, and vaccination of workers and mobilize workers and businesses to engage in pandemic control measures. Mr. Dam stressed the importance of ensuring safe social distancing in order to contain the pandemic while safely restoring the economy.
