(VOVWORLD) -Houses and crop areas have been flooded, and landslides occurred as heavy rain battered the northern mountainous province of Cao Bang over the past days.

In Hoa An district, three houses had their roofs blown off, while in Trung Khanh district, three houses were damaged and 30 hectares of crops were inundated.
La Phi Truong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Linh town, Trung Khanh district, said: “The town People's Committee has asked officials in charge of hamlets and people's residential groups to go to households to inspect and collect damage statistics to find solutions and report to superiors for timely support. Rainfall is predicted to continue in the next few days, so the town and hamlets are encouraging people to proactively move their property to a safe place. Any houses in landslide or flood prone areas will be relocated for their safety.”
Officials of the People's Committee of Tra Linh town visited, encouraged and supported people to stabilize their lives, work and production after the flood.
