(VOVWORLD) - The luxury cruise ships Noordam and Celebrity Solstice, with over 4,700 international passengers aboard, docked at Ha Long International Cruise Port of Quang Ninh province on Tuesday.

The Noordam sailed from Hong Kong (China) to Singapore, while the Celebrity Solstice traveled in the opposite direction. Both ships made stops at four ports: Ha Long, Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Ho Chi Minh City, with a majority of passengers from Europe and the US.
Passengers are set to explore Ha Long Bay, sample delicious local cuisine, and depart on Wednesday evening.
By the end of 2024, Ha Long International Cruise Port is ready to welcome around 10 large cruise ships, bringing tens of thousands of international tourists. This influx will help Quang Ninh achieve its target of 19 million visitors, including 3.5 million foreigners.
