Conference to boost cross-border trade with China opens in Lao Cai
(VOVWORLD) - A conference opened in Lao Cai City on Friday focusing on expanding cross-border trade in agricultural, forestry, and fishery products.

The event emphasized the strategic importance of the Lao Cai - Hekou border gateway, connecting the Kunming - Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh economic corridor and supporting Vietnam-China trade growth.
Five cooperation agreements were signed between Vietnamese and Chinese companies, while around 30 displays highlighted Vietnam’s export products, such as fruits, coffee, seafood, and medicinal herbs.
