(VOVworld) – Ho Chi Minh City is willing to support Kuwaiti businesses, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem said Tuesday at a ceremony on Tuesday marking the 53^rd Independence Day of Kuwait.

He expressed his belief that Ho Chi Minh City and Kuwait’s relationship will prosper thanks to their potentials and steady growth. Kuwaiti Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Omar Al-Qenael said Kuwait-Vietnam relations have steadily developed for decades and their trade ties have expanded rapidly, reaching 740 million USD in 2013, and expected to exceed 1 billion USD in the next few years.
