Monarch of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad on Sunday appointed a new cabinet including 7 members of the ruling Al Sabah family, Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah and 6 other members of Al Sabah. The old cabinet had only 6 members. The Al Sabah family hold key positions in the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Information, and the Ministry of Health.
