(VOVWORLD) - The 21st Hoi An-Japan Cultural Exchange will take place from December 26-28 in Hoi An ancient town to promote exchanges and cooperation in investment, trade, tourism, and culture with Japanese localities.

The event will offer engaging activities for residents and visitors, such as an opening ceremony featuring famous Vietnamese and Japanese art troupes and singers; the traditional Japanese Futondaiko parade; a reenactment of the wedding procession of Princess Ngoc Hoa and merchant Araki Sotaro; calligraphy and Sakai tea ceremony demonstrations; street art performances; and a Cosplay contest.
There will be a photo exhibition featuring Hoi An-Japan cultural exchanges, a display of Vietnam-Japan bonsai art, and booths promoting tourism, cuisine, Vietnamese and Japanese products, accessories, and manga. Visitors can have hands-on experience with Japan’s Hizen ceramics and explore traces of ancient Japan.
