"A majority of Indonesia’s population are Muslims. We concern about the Halal aspects of the products so who can fulfill our requirements we can accept. We also have cooperation with many countries. I see that Vietnam has an interest in Halal industry in Indonesia. Indonesia also consumes some products from Vietnam. I think as long as you can produce good quality products that meet the people’s demand, you have potential,” said Eko.

The agency said it is particularly interested in enhancing cooperation with Vietnam, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and Uruguay.
