(VOVworld) - Iran on Sunday called on international enterprises to participate in its economy after the comprehensive deal on Tehran's nuclear program officially took effect on Saturday.

At a press conference after the European Union (EU) and the United States lifted their economic, financial and energy sanctions on Iran on Sunday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said Iran has the necessary attraction for foreign investments. It has stability, security and peace. Mr. Rouhani said the Iranian government has pledged to raise the GDP from the current three percent to five percent next year. He expressed his hope that after the deal takes effect, political and economic relations between Iran and its neighboring countries would further improve.
