(VOVworld) – The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) said Sunday that it held a drill along the Gaza border, 6 months after Israel’s military campaign in the Gaza Strip.

An IDF spokesperson said that the military exercise, which involved both ground and air forces, had been long-planned and wasn’t designed to respond to any particular event. The same day, the Israeli force for responding to disasters and emergencies in crowded areas held exercises in cities near Tel Aviv.
