But Israeli media reported that Israel’s air defense system detected only a few drones in the Golan Heights area and no signs at all of ballistic missiles launched from Iran.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it carried out more airstrikes deep inside Iran, destroying several missile launchers, two F-14 fighter jets, and a truck with surface-to-surface missiles. They also confirmed hitting the Iranian radio and TV headquarters in Tehran.

International Atomic Energy Agency Director-General Rafael Grossi said 15,000 centrifuges operating at Iran's biggest uranium enrichment plant at Natanz were likely to have been "severely damaged if not destroyed altogether". Iran has not confirmed this claim.

Iranian lawmakers are preparing a bill that could push Tehran toward exiting the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, the foreign ministry said on Monday.

The foreign ministers of 21 Muslim countries issued a joint statement condemning Israel's attack on Iran and calling on both sides to immediately cease fire and restore peace.
