In an interview with a Vietnam News Agency reporter in Phnom Penh on Monday, the RCAF Deputy Commander-in-Chief and Gendarmerie Commander said the parade is not only for Vietnam, but also has diplomatic significance, sending a political message to the world about the role of the Vietnam People's Army, the people and the country of Vietnam.

With the honor of being entrusted by the superiors, the Cambodian Gendarmerie Force is proud to join the parade with friends from Vietnam, Laos and China, according to General Sao Sokha. He called it the first joint parade held in a neighboring country with the performance of foreign troops in the context of numerous global challenges.
