The same day, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin criticized the United States for pouring weapons into the Ukraine battlefield. Wang answered a reporter's question about China's comment on US Secretary of State Antony Blinken statement that Chinese companies are sending nonlethal support to Russia, but they may now send lethal support as well.

US President Joe Biden paid a surprise visit to Kyiv on Monday where he promised new military aid for Ukraine worth 500 million USD. The package will include artillery ammunition, more javelin missiles and howitzers. President Zelensky said he discussed long-range weapons with Biden and called the visit an important signal of support for Ukrainians.

Political observer Andrei Perla said on Russian television channel Tsargrad that Biden's visit to Kiev is not only a state visit but also an act to show the world that the US cares little about peace and is determined to join Ukraine in fighting against Russia.
