(VOVworld) – More than 100 maps and images proving Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos are on display at the Lam Dong museum in Da Lat city.
Doan Thi Ngo, Deputy Director of the museum, said: “Recently, China has placed the Haiyang 981 oil rig on Vietnam’s continental shelf. In order to inspire patriotism and show Vietnam’s determination to defend its sovereignty and territory, we have organized the exhibition to provide evidence of Vietnam’s sovereignty over Truong Sa and Hoang Sa. The exhibition will last until National Day, September 2, and will be taken to people in remote areas.”
The exhibition also consists of photos of construction and development on the two archipelagos.
