(VOVWORLD) - Lao media extensively covered President To Lam's State visit to Laos on Thursday, which was made at the invitation of Lao Party General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith.

Newspapers, websites, radio and television platforms carried numerous articles highlighting President To Lam's visit, noting that it was Lam’s first foreign visit as President.
Lao media emphasized the significance of the visit in boosting bilateral cooperation, underscoring that it would contribute to consolidating and strengthening the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, the two States, and the people of Laos and Vietnam, further deepening and expanding these ties.

In the lead-up to the visit, major Lao newspapers such as Pasaxon (People's Newspaper), the mouthpiece of the Central Lao People's Revolutionary Party, and PathetLao of the Lao News Agency (KPL) published news and articles praising the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam.
