Many lawmakers agreed that streaming service providers should be responsible for the classification of their films, including age ratings and content advice. The management of films published online should focus on post-release examination, according to deputy Nguyen Thi Kim Anh.

“The approval council can not watch thoroughly hundreds of films released online every day. The council should serve as an advisor, not an agency that bears full responsibility for the approval of the films,” Ms. Anh said.
The same day, the National Assembly discussed the performance of the Chief Judge of the Supreme People’s Court and the Chief of the Supreme People’s Procuracy, and the fight against corruption.
