One month after the draft was released for public feedback on May 6, over 280 million opinions were collected, with more than 99% in favor of the proposed amendments.
According to Deputy Nguyen Tam Hung, the changes are considered a critical step toward sweeping administrative reform, including a shift to a more streamlined two-tier local government model.
“The draft resolution is a comprehensive step toward restructuring the state apparatus. The amended Constitution is practical, stable, and future-oriented, laying the groundwork for the country to enter a new era of national development,” he said.
