Legislators applaud government solutions to fight COVID-19, revive economy
(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly deputies on Wednesday applauded the government solutions to post COVID-19 economic recovery after Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc delivered a report on the implementation of socio-economic development in 2019 and plan for 2020 at the Assembly’s 9th session in Hanoi.

Deputy Do Tien Sinh representing Quang Binh province said the government has been proactive and flexible to achieve the twin task of fighting pandemic and resuming businesses.
He commented on the Government’s proposal that the National Assembly adjust plans and targets of 2020 on the basis of current socio-economic situation and forecasts, saying: “I strongly support the government’s proposal. It’s a positive thing and the government needs to quickly finalize its adjustment to submit to authorized agencies. The National Assembly will work out flexible mechanism for the government to deal with new changes.”
Deputy Bui Sy Loi for Thanh Hoa province said it’s necessary for the government to ask for the National Assembly’s approval of plan and target adjustment.
