(VOVworld) – Talks between Libya’s warring parties will resume next Monday in Geneva, according to a statement by the UN Support Mission in Libya.

Bernardino León, head of the UN mission in Libya, said that despite progress in negotiations, Libya’s warring parties need to redouble their efforts to narrow existing differences and reach a peace agreement. It’s unclear who will attend the Geneva talks and whether a delegation of the Libyan General National Congress will travel to Switzerland.
