A delegation from the internationally recognized House of Representatives (HoR) and representatives of the General National Congress (GNC) held the first expert-level meeting in Skhirat city, Morocco. Speaking to the press, HoR representative Abu Bakr Baira said the two sides agreed on most of the issues and planned to sign a draft agreement proposed by UN envoy Bernardino Leon. GNC representative Tawfik Chahibi said that after the mentioned document was signed, it would be submitted to both congresses for approval. The draft agreement is the fourth proposal by UN envoy Bernardino Leon to parties involved in the peace process in Libya which mentions the formation of a national unity government within 1 year.
