Localities step up response to Typhoon Bualoi
(VOVWORLD) - North-central and central provinces are rolling out urgent measures to protect people and infrastructure as Typhoon Bualoi is forecast to make landfall on Sunday night.

In Da Nang, authorities have banned vessels from going to sea since Saturday, while more than 250 boats with over 3,800 seafarers have been guided to safe shelters. Local schools are authorized to suspend classes to ensure student safety.
Thanh Hoa province has evacuated more than 7,300 residents from landslide-prone areas. A sailing ban has also been in effect since Saturday.
Meanwhile, Border Guard forces from Quang Ninh to Lam Dong have worked with local authorities to provide nearly 68,000 vessels with timely updates on the storm’s trajectory, helping over 286,000 crew members steer clear of danger zones.
