Experts and representatives of state management agencies and logistics businesses discussed legal frameworks, solutions, and specific directions for green transformation and sustainable development in Vietnam's transport and logistics sectors.
With 40,000 logistics businesses, Vietnam leads Southeast Asia in the number of enterprises providing logistics services.
Bui Van Quy, Chairman of ASEAN Seaport Association and Deputy Chairman of Vietnam’s Seaport Association, said that institutional, infrastructure, and human factors are needed to implement a green transport program.
“We need financial support from all sources. The Government and State agencies should create incentive policies to encourage businesses to promote digital, green transformation and invest in green transportation,” said Quy.
