Meeting responds to Month of Action for combating drugs

At Saturday meeting in Bac Giang province to respond to the Month of Action against drugs themed “Community joins hands to help drug addicts”, Mr. Binh said the Party and State will intensify drug prevention and detoxification, calling for non-discriminatory behaviors and support for drug addicts to integrate into the community: “The Party and State pays due attention to drug related work and take uniform measures to gain major results, ensuring social security and order and national socio-economic development.”
After the meeting, nearly 2,000 people participated in a demonstration to advocate the fight against drugs. An exhibition on drug dangers and aspiration to integrate into the society was open on this occasion.
