(VOVworld) - The Mekong Connect Forum 2015 will take place in Can Tho province on September 4. It was revealed at a press conference in Can Tho City on Tuesday. Entitled “Connectivity-Integration-Development”, the event will attract the participation of 500 businesspeople in the Mekong Delta region and 100 entrepreneurs from Ho Chi Minh City. Delegates will share ideas on the opportunities and challenges facing the integration process, especially as the ASEAN Community will be established by the end of the year and in the context of Vietnam’s participation in numerous international Free Trade Agreements. The forum is expected to be a venue for businesses, big and small, to seek collaborative opportunities to raise their competitiveness and join chains of value in the region and the world, as well as discuss measure to avoid the dangers of the integration process.
