(VOVWORLD) - A delegation from the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense, led by Deputy Minister Hoang Xuan Chien, is attending the 2025 Turkey International Defense Industry exhibition (IDEF-2025) in Istanbul, Turkey.

The exhibition, which is running through Sunday, showcases naval, air, and land systems, military and security equipment, weapons, ammunition, and defense electronics.
IDEF is one of the world’s most prestigious defense industry exhibitions. Held every two years, it attracts representatives from governments, defense ministries, military organizations, and defense industry corporations worldwide.

Vietnam’s participation demonstrates its commitment to international cooperation in the defense sector, affirming that the Vietnamese Government and Ministry of National Defense consistently promote international exchange and cooperation in defense, based on the principles of equality, mutual benefit, respect for Vietnamese laws, and adherence to international commitments.
