(VOVWORLD) - Son La province held a ceremony on Saturday to announce the Decision of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism recognizing the Moc Chau tourism complex as a National Tourism Site.

The Moc Chau National Tourism Site is a renowned destination for resort tourism in Vietnam, with diverse, rich, and attractive tourism resources, both in terms of natural and cultural attractions, and majestic natural landscapes.
For two consecutive years (2022 and 2023), the Moc Chau National Tourism Site was voted "The world's leading regional natural destination" by the World Travel Awards.
The recognition of the Moc Chau National Tourism Site provides the legal basis to fully tap the potential and advantages of its geographical location, natural tourism resources, and cultural tourism, thus contributing to socio-economic development of Son La province.
