Mr. Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh visited Vietnam in January 2010 as General Secretary of the Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party. He met President Vo Van Thuong at King Charles III’s coronation in London earlier this year in May and former State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc at the 76th UN General Assembly in September 2021.

He has actively promoted the establishment of a new framework for relations with Vietnam during his previous positions as a Deputy Prime Minister and later as Prime Minister of Mongolia, and now the President of Mongolia.

The Mongolian leader’s visit is expected to further promote the friendship, solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
