NA Chairman lays flowers at Ho Chi Minh Monument, meets Vietnamese in Moscow

(VOVWORLD) -Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man Chairman Man on Sunday laid flowers at the Ho Chi Minh Monument, the Monument to Unknown Soldiers at the Kremlin wall, and the Monument to the Unknown Soldiers of Russia as part of his three-day official visit to Russia.

Meeting with officials and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Russia, Mr. Man ffirmed that the Party and State consider overseas Vietnamese an inseparable part of Vietnam, a resource, and an important contributor to strengthening cooperative and friendly relations between Vietnam and the countries where they reside.
"The 2023 Law on Identification creates conditions for all Vietnamese citizens to be granted identity cards, regardless of whether they live in Vietnam or abroad. The revised 2024 Land Law says Vietnamese people residing abroad have had their land use rights expanded. This shows that policies and laws have been revised to pay greater attention to the Vietnamese community abroad," said Mr Man.
The National Assembly Chairman called for greater efforts to preserve the Vietnamese language and national cultural identity.
