Man addressed a workshop in Hanoi on Thursday to mark 55 years of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's testament. “Implementing President Ho Chi Minh's testament, the Communist Party of Vietnam has paid special attention to Party building and rectification, considering it a regular and key task,” said Mr Man, adding, “During Party congresses, the Party Central Committee has added Party building to the Party platform and statutes and promulgated special resolutions on Party building and rectification.”

According to Chairman Man, “building the Party ethically is integral to building a culture of integrity that rejects corruption and negativity. To completely eliminate corruption and negativity, the fundamental and long-term solution is to build a culture of integrity following the spirit of late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong who said, ‘Honor is the most sacred and noble thing’.”

In his opening speech, President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Nguyen Xuan Thang said the aim of the workshop was to pay tribute to the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh.

109 presentations at the workshop underlined the historical value and contemporary relevance of the testament and highlighted the achievements and lessons learned during 55 years of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's testament in central agencies.
