National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung has called on representatives of Vietnamese agencies abroad to mobilize more international support for Vietnam’s renewal and development efforts. Mr. Hung made the appeal at Thursday’s reception for Vietnamese ambassadors and foreign affairs officials who are in Hanoi for a Diplomatic Conference. Chairman Hung noted that diplomats are the first to convey messages of the Vietnamese Party and Government to the outside world. He said ‘Internal and external affairs are intertwined crucial for a nation. Ambassadors and agency representatives play an essential role in obtaining outside assistance for Vietnam’s growth’.
