“Deputies must always stay in close contact with the people, listen to the opinions of the people and be trusted by the people. The Law on Organization of the National Assembly, which was amended in 2020, states that deputies must regularly contact voters to find out their thoughts and aspirations. National Assembly deputies contact voters in their place of residence and place of work,” the NA Chairman said.

He said that during the session, the Standing Committee will examine the draft law on roads and the draft law on road traffic order and safety. The two drafts are set to be submitted to the NA for consideration at the sixth session later this year and for approval at the seventh session next year.
A draft resolution on the organization of district- and communal-level administrative units for the 2023 - 2030 period will also come under discussion.

The National Assembly Chairman requested the Standing Committee to study the dossier, promptly institutionalize the streamlining of the staffing apparatus, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, and continue to build and finetune the rule of law Socialist State of Vietnam.
