(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Saturday met voters in Can Tho city after the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly.

At the meeting, Prime Minister Chinh warned of many challenges ahead and heavy tasks of socio-economic development in 2023. The Government will implement tasks and solutions for socio-economic development, maintain macroeconomic stability, control inflation, promote growth, and ensure major balances of the economy, he said.
Priority will be given to removing difficulties facing production and business and ensuring growth associated with macroeconomic stability and people's lives.
The Prime Minister urged Can Tho city to accelerate disbursement of public investment capital and administrative reform, promote the implementation of industrial, construction, real estate and commercial projects, and support businesses and workers.
Mr. Chinh stressed the need to tackle climate change, landslides, drought and saltwater intrusion in the Mekong Delta and develop strategic infrastructure for road, aviation, maritime, inland waterway and railway transport.
Also on Saturday, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang paid tribute to Le Phuoc Tho, former Politburo member, former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and former head of the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission, who passed away on Thursday.
