(VOVworld) - The National Assembly’s External Relations Committee convenes its 5^th session in Hanoi on Wednesday. The delegates discussed the government’s report on the world issues, the Party and State’s foreign policy this year. This year, the Committee mapped out a plan on amendments to the 1992 Constitution, implemented the resolution on law building, and gave feedback to the Vietnam Law on the Sea, the draft law on national defense and security education, and the draft law on anti terrorism. The Committee also commented on draft agreements between the People’s Supreme Court, the People’s Supreme Procuracy, the State Audit and some National Assembly agencies with foreign partners. Next year, the Committee will focus on law and ordinance building, amendments to the 1992 Constitution related to external relation affairs.
