The National Assembly’s Standing Committee today continued its 11^th session in Hanoi. Participants have discussed revisions and supplements to Vietnam’s personal income tax law.

Most of the deputies agreed with the Government’s decision to raise the threshold eligible for tax payment to 9 million VND per month per family and 3.6 million VND per dependant individual. Meanwhile, the NA Finance and Budget Committee kept the threshold for personal income tax at 7 million VND and the tax reduction based on family circumstances at 2.8 million VND.
