NA Vice chairwoman acknowledges contributions by overseas Vietnamese in France
(VOVworld) – National Assembly Vice chairwoman Tong Thi Phong said the Vietnamese Party, state and government acknowledge the contributions of overseas Vietnamese in France to relations between the two countries. During a meeting on Sunday as part of her visit to France, Phong said:
“Generations of Vietnamese people in France have contributed significantly to relations between the two countries. Vietnamese National Assembly leaders appreciate the contributions of Vietnamese intellectuals and scientists and their support for less unfortunate people in Vietnam.”
During her visit, Ms. Phong will meet with leaders of the French Senate and Parliament and study France’s local management in a province. She said Vietnam values its relations with France, which have been elevated to the level of a strategic partnership.
