This is the first time the Vietnamese National Assembly holds an extraordinary session to consider and decide on four important and urgent contents for socio-economic recovery and development.

Secretary General and Chairman of the National Assembly Office Bui Van Cuong said: “Holding the first extraordinary meeting means there will be a second and a third time. If we leave the issues until the next meeting in the next 6 months, it will slow down national development. It has clearly demonstrated the determination of the 15th National Assembly to innovate to meet national development requirements in line with the Party's leadership to bring policies and resolutions into life.”

The opening of the extraordinary session will be broadcast live on national radio and TV channels.
