(VOVWORLD) -The 5th session of the 15th National Assembly will open in Hanoi on Monday after leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front, and National Assembly deputies lay wreaths to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum.

At the preparatory session before the opening session, the Assembly will listen to National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue’s statement and the report on the revision of the proposed agenda and approve it.
The session is planned to approve 8 draft laws and 3 draft resolutions, and comment on 9 draft laws, according to a press conference on Friday. High on the agenda will be the amended Land Law, review of reports on socio-economic and state budget, questions and answers, and personnel decisions.
The opening session will be broadcast live by Voice of Vietnam (VOV1), Vietnam Television (VTV1) and National Assembly Television.
