(VOVWORLD) -The 38th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee, which opened on Monday, will run until Thursday to give opinions on draft laws and government’s socio-economic development and budget reports.

High on the agenda will be the Law on Management and Investment of State Capital at Enterprises; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Supervision Activities of the National Assembly and People's Council; Law on Digital Technology Industry; Public Investment Law (amended); and Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Planning Law.
The full-time deputies will comment on the Government's Report on implementing the 2024 socio-economic development plan; socio-economic development plan for 2025; state budget in 2024, state budget estimates, and central budget allocation plan in 2025.
The Standing Committee will also give comments on the draft resolution of the National Assembly on urban government organization in Hai Phong city.
