New suspension bridges built in remote areas

(VOVworld) – A program was held in Hanoi on Saturday to review one year of a program to build suspension bridges for people in remote areas. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc praised efforts by the Ministry of Transport to ensure traffic safety nationwide. He said: “The project to build bridges to ensure traffic safety is not an easy task and it needs donations by individuals and organizations at home and abroad. The Ministry of Transport should be able to manage resources in a transparent and effective way.”

Deputy Prime Minister Phuc and Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan presented the Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit to a number of individuals who helped finance the building of bridges in poor villages throughout Vietnam.
