(VOVworld) – New York city is the most likely target for the next Islamic State attack, New York City Police Commissioner Bill Braton thinks.

On Tuesday, Braton, who has been studying the Paris attacks, said New York is a symbol of “all that they hate, so it is the most likely target” for the next attack. He said because of recent terrorist attacks in Paris, New York will change its strategy for dealing with armed militants – it will not negotiate and will attempt to kill hostage abductors if a similar attack happens in New York.

The White House announced on Wednesday that President Barack Obama will meet with French President Francois Hollande in Washington on November 24. The two leaders are expected to discuss ways to deal with terrorist attacks.
